Yeah, so it’s the 12th of March, Thursday. It’s a very windy, cloudy day today. It’s very gloomy actually, but I’ve been cheered up by having a Deliciously Ella muesli, which has been really nice with some moma oat milk. Absolutely delicious. I’ve not really been able to explore muesli in the past. Mainly because a lot of times I’ve tried have been, have had nuts in them, so this has been quite a breath of fresh air to be able to eat this and just enjoy it.
So that was a yummy breakfast. I had with some tea. Um, and now I’m having something a bit later on because I am getting a bit hungry, a bit peckish, around 3:50 p.m. A deliciously ella apple and raisin oak bar with a little cinnamon in it. So I’m really excited to eat this and again, having some tea.
My favourite tea is actually, um, rooibos tea, which I recently discovered, and it’s become a favourite of mine, which I have with my moma oat milk and some honey as well. So it’s been a really nice day filled with food, lots of fibre and just fruit and then, yeah, just preparing myself for a wholesome dinner. Um, that my cousin is making today, which I will, which I’ll share. So yeah. A day filled with lovely food and also the joys of my baby girl, who’s been speaking a lot today as well, smiling as usual. So thankful for that. As we spend a Thursday afternoon, um, a Thursday, really the whole day inside, reading, learning, growing and just being in each other’s presence. And my husband as well, and our dog and family. So yeah, that’s my diary for today.
I’m also reminded of Galatians one, which we actually went through in our Bible study group. This verse in particular makes me think a lot about the food we eat. And it’s, um, verse Galatians 1. Not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel. of Christ.
This is from the ESV version of the Bible. And that word distort, it really reminds me of how, You know, when you think of what’s in supermarkets and you look at all the different brands and what they say is quote unquote healthy, it’s actually not healthy, just how many of our views have been distorted because we don’t really look at things more deeply. We always just look at surface level things and the more we you know, strive to be like Christ, you start to realise that, you know, there are people who want to trouble us, there are people that want to distort the gospel of Christ.
So, Make sure that you’re alert, just like with what we eat, make sure you understand what’s good for you, what’s not good for you. And as I’ve been navigating, being a Christian, being a mother.
This just plays a part in every area, every facet of our lives. So I’m so thankful that I am more in the word and understanding more about who Christ is and just how loved we are. Just how loved we are.
